Gordon Bass - GKB Interiors

Info

Gordon enjoys working with others to create spaces that are cohesive, curated, and comfortable. As a Pacific Northwest native, Gordon grew up in Washington, attended Linfield College and studied design at Heritage School  of Interior Design. He now lives and works in Portland, Oregon.

Gordon is often inspired by the amazing colors and textures from the abundant outdoor beauty Oregon has to offer. Greens from the trees and golds from the ever-fleeting Northwest summer sun are often repeating elements in Gordon’s designs. A connection to nature can be found in each of the rooms Gordon designs.

Whether you are looking to redesign your entire home or just want some design help while utilizing your current furnishings, Gordon believes no design project is too small.  Gordon carries the belief that everyone deserves to live in a space that is not just a house, but a home that is curated to each clients’ needs. With design services including whole home makeovers, one room designs, and redesign consulting, Gordon is there to help.

When not designing spaces for others, Gordon can be found on his boat on the Willamette River, sipping wine in the Willamette Valley, or perusing his favorite local shops in downtown Portland.

Design from the intention with which it is created and the intention with which it is designed.

About Michael

Michael grew up in a creative household, his mother was a pianist and an accomplished seamstress, so Michael spent his childhood surrounded by music and textiles, his playground was the rows of fabric stores. He began designing as a teen, for neighbors and family, so it’s no surprise that.

As a deep believer in the power of community and giving back, Michael donates his time and resources to multiple local organizations and sits on the board of directors for both Portland Center Stage and Heritages School of Interior Design.
